I am a computer scientist currently
- starting up a company in the field of rich internet applications for e-commerce purposes. My main product is a shopping list system called GRAQL, that facilitates compiling large orders on the internet by giving context-dependent suggestions. Graql can be applied to almost any domain (or product catalog) simply by performing some configuration. Please see the GRAQL website and the Grocery Easy website .

Previously, I worked as an assistant professor at the econometric institute of the Erasmus School of Economics where my fields of interest were mainly data-mining and electronic commerce. I obtained a PhD in artificial intelligence from Leiden University, and I worked at the Dutch Center for Mathematics and Computer Science, . You can find my complete resume here .
